Our Not Back To School Picnic session is an opportunity to come and meet some other home educators locally, visit our lovely Stay & Play setting, meet us and find out more about what we do.
This will be a low-demand, relaxed and fun couple of hours where we'll have some of our usual games and activities set up and hopefully (weather allowing) be able to enjoy our picnics outside! All ages are welcome at this session - please book a ticket for everyone coming.
We'd love to meet you, chat about your home education journey and explain what we do too. Everyone is welcome to attend, whether you have joined us for stay and play sessions before, you are new to home education or you are considering it as an option.
Those that attend or are interested in our other sessions are also very welcome to join us to celebrate the start of another home ed year!
Currently we offer four drop-off sessions a week:
Mondays 10-1:30 - Gentle Learning Group (9+ years)
Mondays - 10-1:30 - Teen Hangout (13+ years)
Wednesdays - 10:15-2:15 - STEM/Social Group (7-13 years)
Wednesdays - !0-2:30 - Teen Learning Group (13+years)
We also run sessions during school holidays.
Our Stay & Play (aimed at 0-7 but older siblings welcome) runs fortnightly on Tuesdays 10-12.
For those with younger children (5-8) if we have enough demand we will be adding a drop-off session for these ages to our timetable after Christmas. Please do come to stay and play in the meantime and get to know us.
Please park in the car park at the top by the road or across the road by Oliver's Cafe. There is no parking directly outside the hall as we have to keep that clear for access.
If your child needs a comfort toy, ear defenders or anything similar please do bring these items with you and of course, don't forget your picnic & picnic blanket!
We look forward to meeting you!
