Immerse Yourself in Nature on this weekend retreat, where you can escape normality, have fun, unwind, and reconnect with Mother Earth.
Our venue is The Forge, a family run, eco-glamping site just 11 miles from Llangollen in North Wales. We will have full and exclusive use the site, including its 4 acres of wild flower meadows, wild swimming pond and iron-age hill fort.
Our time together will be filled with yoga, qigong, meditation, walks, swimming, sitting around a campfire, and of course, the freedom to do absolutely nothing!
In addition to all of the above we will be treated to an evening with a local storyteller and have the opportunity to take 2 woodfired saunas (including 1 sauna ritual) over the weekend. The glass-fronted sauna overlooks the wild swimming pond, in which we can have a dip/swim as often as we like! If you are unsure about wild swimming, as a qualified Cold Water Facilitator, I am happy to be with you all the way, guiding you step by step into the water safely, and take you through breathing techniques that may help you while you adapt to the temperature.
You can choose your accommodation - either in a bell tent, or a shepherd's hut. The beautiful bell tents come equipped with comfortable beds (single and twin occupancy available), bedding, a log burner, their own outside covered camping kitchen (so you can make yourself a cuppa whenever you like), a decked seating area, and a composting toilet. The fully furnished shepherd's huts have either 2 bedrooms (twin occupancy) or 1 bedroom and 1 sitting area (single occupancy), a kitchen, and outside they have their own composting toilet and fire pit area.
Onsite, there is a shower cabin with 2 showers in individual rooms, each with a dressing area.
All food and drinks are included in the price. We will have our own private chef - Bex from The Mindful Kitchen, providing us with amazingly delicious and beautiful 100% plant-based meals, using natural, organic and seasonal produce (dietary requirements can be catered for).
We will also have the pleasure of our own local storyteller visiting us on the Saturday evening, taking us through myths and legends of the area around the hill-top firepit (weather permitting - we will be inside around a log burner if necessary!).

12-2pm - Yoga/qigong/yin/nidra
2:30-3:30pm - Sauna & swim (including a sauna ritual) / free time
4pm - Drinks and afternoon treats
4:30-7pm - Caer Drewyn walk
7:30pm - Evening meal
8:30pm - Local myths and legends around the campfire
Sunday
From 7:30am - Drinks and fresh fruit
8:15-9:15am - Move, breathe, meditate
9:30am - Swim / free time
10:30am - Brunch
12-2pm - Yoga/qigong/yin/nidra
2:30pm - Drinks and afternoon treats
3pm - Depart
Prices for the retreat (including everything!):
Twin occupancy bell tent £505 per person.
Single occupancy bell tent £565 per person.
Twin occupancy shepherd's hut £595 per person.
Single occupancy shepherd's hut £625 per person.
A non-refundable deposit of £165 secures your place; then 2 instalments will be due by 26th February and 23rd April 2027, and will be:
£170 and £170 for twin occupancy bell tent
£230 and £170 for single occupancy bell tent
£260 and £170 for twin occupancy shepherd's hut
£290 and £170 for single occupancy shepherd's hut.

Please note: This really is an immerse yourself in nature retreat! The toilets are composting, the wild swimming pond isn't heated, we will be off-grid and outside for as much as possible - but there is an indoor cabin with a log burner if we really need it!!
