This full-day course is essential for anyone carrying out work on low-risk asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) that fall under non-licensed or notifiable non-licensed categories.
All low-risk asbestos materials require a valid non-licensed training certificate, and this course ensures delegates are both competent and compliant. The day is split into two key parts:
Morning theory session – covering the legal framework (including a refresher on Cat A awareness if required), health risks, and safe working practices under the Control of Asbestos Regulations (2012).
Afternoon practical session – hands-on training in working safely with non-licensed ACMs, including correct use of tools and equipment, methods of containment, waste handling and bagging, decontamination procedures, and tailored scenarios specific to delegates’ roles or environments.
Ideal for tradespeople, businesses and maintenance professionals, this course provides the knowledge and confidence to manage asbestos risks safely and legally.
Helix offers an engaging classroom experience that goes far beyond online learning.
With practical demonstrations, interactive discussions, and real-world problem-solving, delegates gain valuable knowledge to take into the working world.
