Discover the deeply relaxing and therapeutic art of Indian Head Massage with our practical, hands-on training course.
This one-day course will teach you how to deliver a professional Indian Head Massage treatment, incorporating techniques for the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face.
During the course, you will learn client consultation, contraindications and precautions, treatment preparation, therapist posture, appropriate pressure and a range of traditional massage techniques. You will also learn how to adapt the treatment to suit individual client needs and create a relaxing and nurturing experience.
Training takes place in a small, supportive group with a maximum of six students, allowing plenty of time for practical tuition, guidance and individual feedback.

This course is designed to give you the practical skills and confidence to incorporate Indian Head Massage into your professional treatment offering.
Niveau: Beginner
Please arrive approximately 15 minutes before the course start time to allow time to settle in and prepare for the day.
Please wear comfortable, practical clothing suitable for giving and receiving treatments. Students will be working practically with one another throughout the course.
As Indian Head Massage involves working on the upper back, shoulders, neck, scalp and face, please arrive with clean, dry hair and minimal hair products where possible.
Please bring your course manual and any materials that have been provided to you in advance.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. Please let us know in advance about any dietary requirements or allergies.
As this is a practical course, students will both give and receive treatments. Please contact us before attending if you have any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, scalp or skin conditions, are pregnant, or have any other circumstances that may affect your ability to participate safely.
