Did you know that “Bias is automatic. Values are intentional. Equity happens in the
pause between the two.”
This full-day training invites participants to explore how unconscious bias influences
our thinking, decisions, relationships, and workplace dynamics. Grounded in current neuroscience and social research, the course examines how the brain relies on cognitive shortcuts to manage complexity—and how those shortcuts can unintentionally reinforce bias.
Through research-informed content, guided reflection, and interactive activities, participants will learn how engaging in thoughtful, sometimes uncomfortable conversations can surface bias and validate perspectives rather than create conflict. Designed for professionals at all levels, this training emphasizes practical, compassionate strategies that increase self-awareness, strengthen inclusion, and support equity in everyday interactions. The approach is intentionally non-judgmental, recognizing that bias is a human brain function—not a personal failing—and that awareness is the first step toward meaningful change.
