This small Pregnancy Yoga group is suitable from 14 weeks onward. It will help you maintain your physical strength and flexibility when you are pregnant, also teaching you ways to prepare mentally and emotionally for the birth of your beautiful baby and the early days with him or her.
You will learn key Yoga breathing practices for birth and beyond, Yoga postures, meditations, affirmations and many great ways to relax and sooth the nervous system - skills for life!
You don't need any experience or flexibility to join the class. The Yoga you learn may help with maternal anxiety, worry and stress, pregnancy related physical discomforts, preparing for birth, getting your baby in to an optimal foetal position, creating space within. Many women also make important friendships with other mums to-be and continue to socialise once their babies are born.
If you are finding it hard to fit in some calm time where there is absolutely nothing to think about except you and your baby, ease yourself into pregnancy and give yourself the time and space to enjoy it through Yoga.
The Manor is a beautiful studio in Colchester, 2 minutes walk from the St Mary's car park on Balkerne Hill. Due to COVID19, Spaces are limited. Please read the COVID guidance.
Although the studio is fully equipped with mats, cushions, blankets and bolsters you are most welcome to bring your own along if you wish.
Don't forget to wear comfortable clothing to move freely!
