  • Join Journey Wild and learn how to carve a wooden whisk from a christmas tree top in this 5 hour workshop.
  • We will discover how to carve out the whisk, set it into shape, sand and smooth, carve a - handle and set the whisk in.
  • Along with learning how to utilise spruce tree tops in this way, this workshop will also teach basic carving techniques with a straight knife and give confidence to approach woodcarving and craft projects at home.
  • All tools and materials are provided.

  • Ages 14+ All persons below 18 to be accompanied by an adult.

  • West Wight Location - TBC.

  • There will be a hot kettle on the go with teas and coffees available, aside from this it is a self catered event with a break for lunch at 12.30pm for 45 mins. Bring along your own refreshments, snacks and lunch as you please.

Instruktioner

  • The course is held in a covered outdoor woodland workshop area. Please dress accordingly for the weather on the day of your workshop.

  • Please wear closed toe footwear (no sandals/open toe shoes)

  • Aside from hot Teas and Coffees, this is a self catered event. Bring along your own refreshments, snacks and lunch as you please. There will be time for breaks.

  • The exact location and arrival details will be shared via email 1 week before the workshop takes place.
