Come and join us at our Forest School Family Stay and Play with NatureCwtch @ Lakewood.
Take the opportunity with your child to play in nature, light fires, build dens, explore in the dig zone and cook up a storm in the mud kitchen, plus much more in our beautiful woodland. This session is aimed at primary school aged children.
Each session is led by Kate at NatureCwtch, she is an experienced qualified forest school teacher who has a passion for all things outdoors. Kate has the necessary DBS check and insurance to run the sessions as well as being first aid trained.
Come and enjoy some fun in the woods!
Instruktioner
The session will go ahead in all weathers unless it is not safe to do so.
Please come dressed in appropriate clothing to be outside for the duration, feeling the cold really stops children having fun, so add an extra layer just in case. We recommend lots of warm layers, waterproof layers on the top and wellies or waterproof walking shoes on your feet.
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the session starting, on arrival Kate or a member of the team will be there to greet you. Remember the post code may not not take you directly there as the site is on private roads so please follow the directions on the confirmation email.
Nature based crafts will be on offer based on the season, we will also offer activities like den building, exploring the woods, mud kitchen, a digging area and hammock. A hot drink station will be available for the adults to have a drink, please bring your own cup, water and cordial will be available for children.
