Floating Pennywort is a NNIS - Non Native Invasive Species which is taking over our river.
In collaboration with Paddle UK's environmental project lead, we will take to the river in canoes and remove as much pennywort as possible, leaving space for the native plants to grow.
This is a hands-on, wet and muddy activity and you will need a complete change of clothes for afterwards
Due to the nature of the work, this session is for adults only.
Niveau: ALL
Please arrive 10 minutes before the session start time to sign in. You will be given a briefing and PPE for the task ahead.
Please remember to bring a full change of clothes with you.
