Morning workshop taster
Guided exploration of the Rydal Hall grounds to gather natural materials
Introduction to nature Gelli printing
Introduction to fibre art using a 15cm embroidery hoop with option to create within the grounds
Lunch & refreshments
Lunch by Bakery No. 4 with refreshments provided throughout the day.
Afternoon session
Crafting in the woodsn with refreshments
Creating a larger 30cm fibre hoop using the skills and materials gathered earlier
A relaxed and welcoming retreat, focused on creativity, nature, and community 🌿

Arrival
Please arrive from 9:30am for welcome drinks
The retreat will finish at approximately 4:00pm.
What to Wear
Comfortable clothing suitable for creative activities
Layers and weather-appropriate outdoor wear (we will be working outside)
Sensible footwear for walking on natural ground
What to Bring
A reusable water bottle
A yoga mat & cushion or a camp chair for crafting in the woods
Any personal snacks you may want
An open mind and willingness to slow down and create
All art materials and equipment will be provided.
Food & Refreshments
Lunch by Bakery No. 4 and refreshments will be provided.

Accessibility
Parts of the day will take place outdoors on natural terrain. If you have any access needs or concerns, please get in touch ahead of time so we can support you where possible.

This is a relaxed, welcoming retreat focused on creativity, nature, and community.
All experience levels are welcome — no prior art or craft experience is needed.
