Detaljer

Join Conservation Officer Nathalie Cossa for an evening of bat and glow-worm watching. Charnwood Lodge is an important nature reserve for bats with eight different species found here. Please meet at the ‘Bomb’ rocks for an introductory talk about bats and how they utilise the nature reserve. We will then walk down to the stables to watch the bats emerging from their roosts at dusk, followed by glow-worm spotting amongst the undergrowth. NB The ground is uneven and can be very wet in places, please dress appropriately and bring a torch.
