The East Midlands East and East Midlands West Maths Hubs would like to invite you to our Supporting Secondary Schools Maths Conference.
The aim of the conference is to support Secondary Schools Mathematics departments in improving practice and outcomes for all students.
The conference is for heads of mathematics and their line managers.
Our keynote speaker is Sean Harford, Ofsted's National Director, followed by Carol Knights, NCETM Secondary Director for Mathematics.
Opportunities and resources will be provided for discussion between Heads of Department and Senior Leadership line managers focused around the following areas:
• Guidance on assessment and feedback
• Ofsted expectations
• Technology and A-Level
• Moving a Maths Department Forward
• Opportunities available through Maths Hubs
• 'Our Mastery Journey'
Cost is £30 for the head of maths or £50 for the head of maths and one other.
