By word, silence and, above all, example, John shares from living experience, leading beyond concepts to simplicity itself. Here, we may rest. Deeper and deeper we may realise what's here. Being here fully present, we discover for ourselves - presence itself becomes the teacher - realised to be the source of all.
Set within the peaceful surroundings of the Briery in Ilkley, the weekend provides a supportive environment for rest and contemplation. There is no need for prior experience—only a willingness to pause, listen, and be.

This retreat is not about gaining something new, but rediscovering what has never been absent. Come as you are, and allow everything unnecessary to fall away.

Please arrive from 16:00 onwards on Friday 25th September, starting with welcome / arrival session @ 17:15 in the Chapel followed by dinner @ 18:00.
The retreat will finish after lunch on Sunday.

Limited parking is available in the retreat centre car park, there is also ample parking on the adjacent streets Victoria Avenue and Grove Road.
Accommodation – most of the rooms are single ensuite (there are a couple of double / twin rooms available – please request at the time of booking if you would prefer one of these)
Food & drinks – Provided meals and refreshments will be vegetarian (if you have other dietary needs, please indicate these on the booking form).
