We are delighted to welcome experienced gundog trainer Lyndsey Rutherford from ‘Lyndsey Canine Coach’ to Paddaburn for our first Gundog Taster session on 26th April.

This three-hour Gundog workshop offers a relaxed and informative introduction to core gundog training skills, suitable for all breeds and ages. Designed with beginners in mind, the session focuses on building solid foundations through clear, practical exercises that encourage calm behaviour, focus, and teamwork between dog and handler.

Working in a supportive group environment, handlers will explore basic gundog concepts including steadiness, recall, simple retrieves, and good field manners. Whether you’re curious about gundog training or simply looking to develop useful skills in a structured outdoor setting, this workshop provides an enjoyable and accessible starting point for both pet and working dogs.
