A full day walk on Snowdon, using the Pyg Track up and the Llanberis Path down (approx. 9 miles in total).
This means the best place to park is Llanberis. We meet outside the Snowdon Mountain Railway station at 8.45am located at LL55 4TT.
There is a good local bus service that can transport us up to Pen y Pass, the start of the Pyg Track. A single journey currently costs £1.50 and takes about 20 minutes.
Using the local bus service means we can utilise larger parking areas in Llanberis and you’ll experience two different paths on Snowdon – both of which have their own character, history, interests and exciting photo opportunities.
We aim to be back in Llanberis by 4.30pm and there’s ample opportunities for tea and cake at the foot of Snowdon, as reward for your achievements!
