I love to offer and hold a safe space for people to empower themselves to feel better in body, mind and soul using movement, body awareness and time to relax and be still.

I spent 10 years in the wellness industry teaching various dance and fitness classes and 5 years running a studio space until 2020 gave me the opportunity to take a break before embarking on a new chapter. I used this time to study and gain my 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Certificate and become a licensed Groove Facilitator.

I then embarked on further studies to specialise in teaching Yin Yoga as it is a style of yoga that I find particularly useful in my own personal practice. Yin Yoga is a passive style of yoga that brings stillness and calm.

My yoga teaching style is gentle and accessible and I have a particular interest in designing yoga classes themed around the Chakras and themes inspired by nature such as working with the elements, seasons and lunar cycles.

As well as practicing yoga, I love to dance!

I've always been told people are inspired whilst watching me on the dance floor.
This is not because of any talent but because I really do dance like no-one is watching!
I don't care what I look like - I dance to feel free, to be myself, to feel good.
Out of all the many types of dance and fitness classes I have trained in and taught none of them have made me feel as good as GROOVE does!

I have 15+ years experience in the fitness / wellness industry and among many other things I am a qualified Fitness Instructor (Exercise to Music) and I am always working towards further CPD, most recently completing training in both Chair Yoga and Restorative Yoga.

I am also Level 3 First Aid at Work certified and fully insured.
