Experience Rowtons’ Museum’s exhibits, artefacts and Penuel Chapel’s very own haunted history in the dark as you investigate the paranormal on Halloween under the guidance of museum owners, Laura and Erik Rowton. Your evening will include:
✦ a tour of our Grade II listed chapel and schoolroom, with special attention paid to the most haunted objects cared for by the museum
✦ an after dark vigil in Penuel Chapel, the site of miracles and manifestations
✦ participation in paranormal experiments, including Estes Method
✦ use of popular paranormal equipment, including spirit boxes, K2 meter, LED cat balls and REM pods
✦ free time to investigate the entire museum, including séance parlour and paranormal laboratory
✦ participation in a spirit/Ouija board session (optional)
✦ lone vigil (optional)
✦ refreshment interludes

◆ Please arrive at the entrance of the chapel 15 to 20 minutes before your event for check-in. Investigations start at the stated time, so please do not be late!
◆ All guests must be over the age of 18.
◆ STRICTLY NO ALCOHOL, DRUGS OR DRUNKENNESS. If you or any member of your group appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or are suspected of having brought either alcohol or drugs into the museum, your booking will be terminated immediately and you will be asked to leave.
◆ Please wear sensible footwear and warm, layered clothing.
◆ Please bring a torch.
◆ You are welcome to bring your own investigative equipment to use alongside the provided tools.
◆ There are stairs throughout the museum.
◆ Tea, coffee, water and biscuits are provided. You are welcome to bring your own snacks.
