In a conversation with the physiotherapists at Bodyworks we were stunned at the amount of clients they had come for injuries who said they'd been doing Pilates for quite a while but had absolutely no idea of the core principles of pilates such as only activating the underlying support muscles whilst performing movements.
Add to that the boom of Pilates Reformer Classes and some students entering a reformer class without any previous matwork experience and it's a recipe for disaster.
We decided to put this course together so that the student will be able to see areas where they are tight and weak, understand the core principles to then take in to group classes whether with greater body awareness & technique.
Each participant will receive a 121 check up with a physio and a Pilates Journal to record observations throughout the course which is why there will only be a maximum of 8 in each class.
There will also be 7 videos sent throughout the 4 wks which students will have access to for 2 months.
