The Language we use in the class is English. To take part in this class it makes sense that the child can understand and is able to talk in English as that enables us to play and create songs together. It's not a english learning class- it's a music class in english :)
We sing, create, play, and explore music with our whole bodies.
Together, we embark on a musical journey of discovery. Through playful activities, we develop coordination, voice and breath, as well as the connection between body and voice. We train our listening skills, melodic and rhythmic memory, and create our own songs while exploring different ways of arranging and accompanying music together. When the group is ready Solfege( do, re, mi etc.) will gradually be introduced.
We make music using a variety of instruments, including chime bars, xylophones, Orff instruments (such as claves, drums, and maracas), the ukulele, and the piano.
There is no pressure to achieve or any expectations to practise at home. My focus is on nurturing each child's overall musicianship, encouraging creativity, enjoying the experience of making music together, and learning music as a language.
To help ensure that our classes are enjoyable and run smoothly for everyone, I kindly ask you to read and follow the guidelines below:
The studio is located in a residential building. Please be considerate of the other residents and keep noise to a minimum when entering and leaving the building, especially in the shared areas such as the hallway. You are responsible for your child and their behaviour in the common areas at all times.
There is a bicycle parking area opposite the building, near MediaMarkt, where bicycles can be securely locked. Scooters can be left near the cupboards inside.
The music room is a shoe-free zone. Please remove your outdoor shoes and leave them in the designated area.
For the duration of the class, the accompanying adult is required to wait in the waiting area or as otherwise agreed with Sophie.

Music Explorers 4.5-5.5 years old Autumn Ticket
This ticket is valid for the 12 classes of the autumn semester, according to the scheduled course dates. The final class will take place on the 9th of December.Missed classes: Unfortunately, refunds cannot be given for missed classes.If the course leader is unable to teach due to illness, a make-up class will be held on the 17th of December.
