This one-day, in-person CPD course equips professionals with the knowledge and practical skills to support children and young people who have experienced trauma.
Led by specialist practitioners and aligned with the UK Government’s definition of trauma-informed practice, the training explores what trauma is and how to apply the six key principles: safety, trust, choice, collaboration, empowerment, and cultural consideration. Participants will gain practical strategies to create safe, supportive environments and build positive relationships.
Who is it for?
Professionals working with children, young people, and families, including teachers, youth workers, residential staff, and forest school leaders.
