Summer Sunshine Skirts (7-11 yrs)

Design and make a simple skirt while learning basic sewing skills such as measuring, cutting fabric, sewing seams, and creating a waistband. Students will also practise hemming and using a sewing machine safely.

There will be a selection of fabrics available, including lightweight cottons suitable for summer. Students can choose their fabric and make small design decisions such as skirt length and simple decorative details, depending on time.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some sewing experience. Each student will leave with a finished skirt.
