Introduction to Picture Framing Five Day Intensive

In this five day course our expert tutor will teach you how to frame a picture, from cutting accurate mitres in the wooden frame, through cutting mount board, staining and waxing the frame, mounting the artwork, cutting glass to fit the frame, making spacers and taping and finishing the frame. We will introduce you to specialist framing equipment, but also show you what you need to know to make your own picture frames at home using a minimum of special equipment.

The course is suitable for all skills levels, including beginners. Teaching is Monday to Friday, 10.00 am to 4.00 pm.

The small class size will allow for plenty of individual attention.
