Cancellation & Attendance Policy

To ensure our events run fairly and efficiently, please read the following policy before booking.

Cancellations
All bookings are non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued if you choose not to attend an event for any reason.
If PTA - The Nicholson Academy cancels an event, attendees will be contacted directly with details of any alternative arrangements.

Ticket Transfers
Ticket transfers are not permitted.
Bookings cannot be transferred to another person or to a future event.

Free Workshops
Places on free workshops are limited and are funded or subsidised by PTA - The Nicholson Academy.
If you book a place on a free workshop and voluntarily choose not to attend without giving at least 48 hours' notice, you will be charged a £5 administration fee. This fee helps to cover the costs incurred by the PTA and encourages attendees to release places that could otherwise be offered to another participant.
The £5 administration fee must be paid before any future bookings for PTA events or workshops will be accepted.

Waiting List
Where an event or workshop is fully booked, a waiting list will be operated.
Places will be offered in order that members join the waiting list. The PTA – The Nicholson Academy will attempt to contact the next person on the list when a place becomes available. If there is no answer, no voicemail or message will be left, and the PTA will move on to the next person on the waiting list.
The place will be allocated to the first person who responds and confirms they wish to accept it. If the original member contacts the PTA after the place has been accepted by another person, they will remain on the waiting list should another place become available.
The PTA – The Nicholson Academy cannot guarantee that a place will become available or that every member on the waiting list will be contacted.

Agreement
By booking a place at any event or workshop organised by PTA - The Nicholson Academy, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to this Cancellation & Attendance Policy.
