Summer Solstice at Hungerford Park
As the sun reaches its highest point in the sky, we gather to celebrate the Summer Solstice—the longest day and the shortest night. It's a powerful threshold, inviting us to honour the height of the season, reflect on our journey since the Winter Solstice and turn our gaze to what's to come. What are you ready to release and what wisdom will you carry forward?
You are warmly invited to join us on the eve of solstice weekend for a special celebration at beautiful Hungerford Park. Surrounded by open meadows, old trees, and an apple orchard, it's a place that invites stillness, presence and renewal. I look forward to gathering for an outdoor Summer Flow yoga practice and meditation (with sweeping views of the park!), and silent walk through the grounds. There will be space for reflection and intention setting (please bring your journal!), and time to explore the organic walled garden. Drinks and homemade treats will be served underneath the stretch tent.

This is a time to honour the midpoint of the year—to look back on the path we've walked since winter, and gently turn our gaze toward what’s to come.
No prior experience is needed—beginners are very welcome.
Please note: This is an outdoor event and will go ahead in cool, cloudy, or breezy conditions. We’ll only cancel in the case of extreme weather.

Please arrive by 4:15 PM to settle in, so we can start promptly.
WHAT TO WEAR & BRING
If you need yoga mats or props, I highly recommend Yoga Matters. Should you have difficulty sourcing anything, please let me know — I'm happy to help!
HOW TO FIND US
The land stretches wide and wild, so please plan ahead and leave plenty of time to arrive.
Directions:
If coming via Hungerford Common: cross the second cattle grid after the common. The entrance to Hungerford Park is the first right through the brick pillars.
If arriving from the A4: drive through Denford, cross the cattle grid, go over the railway line, and keep left after the bridge to reach the second cattle grid.
At the green gates, follow the signs to the Walled Garden, pass the Main House on your left and Hungerford Park Studs on your right (where the road turns into a track), circling around until you find parking nestled on the far side of the Walled Garden.
Continue on foot, pass the walled garden on your left and find the path that leads up through the trees, through the gate, (bear left) and up to the deck.
