We are thrilled to announce the next Northern Devon Forum for Practitioners Inclusive of all Neurotypes* (PINN Forum). This event brings together service providers and professionals whose work by nature of being 'in the community', reaches and supports neurodivergent people.
The PINN Forum is a unique platform that facilitates collaboration, resource sharing, and the development of innovative strategies to enhance the support available. Your participation will help shape the future of neurodiversity advocacy and service provision in Northern Devon. Our next event is a collaboration, featuring an extended contribution about the TICA Tool.
We welcome those working in health, education, social care, and similar sectors; working in support roles, advisory roles, clinical and careers roles, or in educational provision, amongst others. You don't need to be a neurodiversity 'specialist' - this is about building connections between services and learning from each other for the benefit of our shared service users.
THEME: 'From Good Intentions to Real Impact'.
EXPECTED SCHEDULE:
9.45 - arrival for teas and coffees
10.00 - Welcome: current themes and thinking
10.45 - TICA: An introduction to the concept and values
11.15 - Break
11.45 - Trauma Informed work: the systems we work in and barriers to implementation
12.45 - Reflections and feedback
1.00 - Optional networking/close of PINN
Those who wish to stay to explore some of the TICA values in relation to their own organisations and work are invited to stay for a 2-hour workshop from 2.30 - 4.30pm.
Please note: Matt and Natascha are contributing their time and sharing the TICA Tool at no cost to attendees. Our standard requested £5 contribution supports the running of the PINN Forum itself.
There is no fee for the additional TICA workshop in the afternoon and whilst this is not an event hosted by WayMakers, it follows on from the morning's content so is listed in this booking space to streamline the event organisation.
You are welcome to enjoy the space at the Growforward Project over your lunch break.
