Dartmoor Preservation Association land workday

Details

The Dartmoor Preservation Association is running a practical workday on our land at High House Waste near Cornwood. We manage the land for the protection of the SSSI valley mires and preservation of archaeology. Our work increases biodiversity and assists with natural flood management.
On this day we will be clearing gorse and invasive plants to create access to the site and protect the valley mires using cutting tools, bow saws and loppers.
All tools provided, short walk out to the site, clothing and waterproofs for a day on the moor are necessary. Full details to follow for attendees.
