Para-olympic (Incorporating Seated Volleyball & New Age Curling) Games Primary & Secondary

PRIMARY AND SECONDARY We are running two Level 2 sports competitions in 1 morning! Bring your teams along to play both New Age Curling AND Sitting Volleyball! Both of which are qualifiers for the Level 3 Devon Summer Ability Games on Thursday 27th April 2017. Both competitions are open to teams from KS2, KS3 and KS4. This event is aimed at SEND students and those who would not normally access a team competition. Students need to have no experience of the games as the rules and techniques are simple for both sports and can be picked up on the day. Obviously practice before always helps!! There is access to disabled toilets inside this venue. Team Sizes
1.For all ages it will be teams of 4. When New Age Curling is played pupils may play in pairs but this will depend on the entries.
2.Teams can be any gender or mixed.

WHAT THEY NEED TO BRING WITH THEM / BE AWARE OF ON THE DAY

Schools/Pupils will need to bring the following:
1.Suitable PE kit and trainers
2.Refreshments (schools are responsible for their own litter)
3.First Aid Kit (schools are responsible for their own first aid) The representatives of Dartmoor School Sport Partnership may take photographs or video during events. These will be used to celebrate work, support training and other educational uses or promote the School Sport Partnership. The College Internet policy gives clear guidelines that will be adhered to about the use of such materials. If you have children who cannot be photographed or filmed then please let the organiser know before the event.
