💙Alison Wombwell is a dual diagnosed Autistic and Combined ADHD Coach, Trainer, Support Practitioner and Published Author. Alison has first hand experience of both being a parent/carer and as a female adult diagnosed.💙
🌟Professionally, Alison has worked in the mental health/care sector for over twelve years with experience of working with Adults with complex mental health conditions including Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorder and Autism.🌟
📚Alison has obtained qualifications BA (Hons) in Childhood and Youth, Certification in Best Practice for Autism, ICF Certified ADHD Coaching Qualification, Confident Hearts Wellbeing and Care Coaching Qualifications, Level 5 Diploma in Autism Research, Theory and Practice for Managers and Practitioners.📚
The Educational Support Workshop will be focusing on but not limited to;
🟩 Understanding ASD / ADHD / RSD - REJECTION SENSITIVITY DYSPHORIA
🔸️ Defining and Understanding RSD in depth.
🔸️The "Why": How RSD stems from neurological differences (often in ADHD brains) and the cumulative effect.
🔸️Perceived vs. Actual Rejection: Exploring how RSD causes people to misinterpret neutral feedback (like a neutral tone or a delayed text) as total rejection.
🔸️ Understanding Common Symptoms and Behaviors of the Emotional Hamster Wheel Cycle.
🔸️Management and Coping Strategies. Techniques to calm the nervous system during a "fight or flight" response & shifting from self-blame to self-validation.
🔸️Re-framing & Re-Evaluating Narratives.
🔸️Understanding the Impact on Life and Relationships
