Our South Philly birth classes are dynamic, hands-on, and a great way to build a sense of community while preparing for your birth. The total investment in preparing for a confident and healthy birth is $195; a $50 deposit paid with registration will reserve space for you and one support person.
Topics include knowing one's rights in the laboring room, informed and evidence-based decision making, pelvic bodywork and understanding baby positioning for a smoother and more efficient labor, understanding the role of interventions and how to make decisions regarding their necessity, the emotional and physical aspects of the labor process, medical pain relief options, and natural comfort measures. Brittany encourages an environment where expectant parents and their partners, if applicable, feel secure in exploring their options and developing their own priorities while building positive communication skills and confidence for their labors and births.
If desired you can choose to purchase our self-paced birth preparation course, Your Empowered Birth, to accompany your in person birth class experience. The self-paced course is usually priced at $159 but is only $60 if purchased with the in person class and it offers one year of unlimited access to the entire course content. Just choose that option at checkout!
