THE BLIND TASTING
We start with a quick introduction to identifying tastes and smells according to grape and region going through 6x (0,75) glasses of wine.
TRIVIA and SOMMELIER'S BOX OF SMELLS
The second half of the game there are fun multiple choice wine trivia questions and 6 smells to guess from the official sommelier training box. (From jasmine to petrol)
The winner is determined by a point system. The weeks you don’t participate you will receive the average point of that week, thus bringing your original point slowly down to an average point. So the more you attend the more you have a chance of winning the league!
We decided to take the wine mafia to another level this year and make more prizes available for the best of the month and year!
The prize for the WEEKLY winners are still FREE ENTRY to next week’s wine Mafia or a bottle of wine.
The prize for the MONTHLY winner is a whole month of FREE ENTRY to WINE Mafia Wednesdays.
The prize for the winner of the YEAR will be a special merchandise package with extra surprises!
