Water exploration for children ages 7 to 8. Children learn basics of swimming: Rhythmic bobbing/breathing, floating in prone and supine positions, gliding in prone and supine positions, flutter kick in prone and supine positions, freestyle arm stroke, basic safety rules, retrieve submerged objects, how to stay safe in the water, and jumping safely into water.

Please bring goggles, a towel, and warm clothes to change into Swimmers will be working on various strokes and improving their techniques in the back stroke, breaststroke, and free style, Students will work in both the shallow and deeper sections of the pool. Diving from the side of the pool may also be introduced.
