COOISH VOOAR: Mother Languages Singing Circle - Hosted by Ruth Keggin of Culture Vannin

Manx is proudly one of many global languages spoken and sung here on the Isle of Man. Bring a song from your mother tongue to a friendly singing circle, hosted by Ruth Keggin and let’s share and appreciate each other’s cultures.

This is not a workshop, and you don't need to teach anything! Singing circles are a friendly, inclusive way to share a song with others that you particularly enjoy. All you need to do is come along with your song, and sing it for the rest of the circle. All of the attendees take turns at singing, one by one, and they can say a little about the song they're going to sing, if they want to.

Although this event is aimed at adults (18+), children aged 11+ are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult for the duration of the event.
