Tar as goaill arrane ayns Gaelg! Come and sing in Manx! All are welcome to this FREE 1.5 hour-long Christmas song workshop for adults on Saturday 28th November between 1pm – 2.30pm at the House of Manannan, Peel.
While this workshop does not require any prior knowledge of Manx, it is aimed at those who would like to learn some longer/more complex Christmas repertoire, such as carols. You will be guided expertly throughout the workshop by your tutor, and given links to audio recordings of the songs (both spoken and sung) to support your learning after the workshop has finished.
As space is limited, booking is essential [insert ticket link if this is for FB].
Led by Ruth Keggin Gell, Manx Language Development Officer for Culture Vannin, this workshop is part of a ‘Festive Manx Day Out in Peel’, which is taking place on Saturday 28th November. There are a number of events taking place, with something for all ages and levels of Manx. You can find the whole programme for the day at www.yearofmanx.im
Important: we ask that participants do not attend this workshop if they have tested positive for Covid at the time of the event, or are feeling ill in any way. Please cancel your booking via BookWhen if you are unable to come, so that your place can be offered to someone else.
Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of the workshop for a prompt start.
