Join Simon Dell for a visit to discover the stones in the Cowsic Valley, carved at the behest of the Reverend Bray of Tavistock. They are dedications to the poets and also bardic runes. We will meet outside of the front door of the Two Bridges Hotel. Parking at the hotel (fee applies payable at the hotel) or free in the small quarry car park opposite the hotel. These stones are mainly on private property and not on access land so this walk is being done with the permission of the farmer.
