The NEBOSH National Diploma is the internationally recognised qualification relevant for health and safety professionals, or those with aspirations to be one and people with health and safety responsibilities who want to gain an in-depth understanding of health and safety.
It is designed to provide learners with the knowledge and understanding required to undertake a career as a health and safety professional and it also provides a sound basis for progression to postgraduate study.
The qualification is a substantial undertaking, and each unit requires a great deal of commitment and time.
Delivery:
ONLINE
Tutor led delivery via Microsoft Teams with PowerPoint presentations, online individual and group activities and discussions.
Homework will be set each week and must be completed.
Learners will also be expected to undertake additional research.
CLASSROOM
Tutor led delivery with use of PowerPoint presentations, classroom based individual and group activities and discussions.

Assessment:
Each unit is assessed as follows:
Unit ND1 – Written assessment consisting of 4 parts:
Scenario based questions.
Workplace based activity
Simulations and reflective statements.
Research topic.
Recommended 60 hours to complete and must be completed within 6 weeks (30 working days).
Unit ND2 – Scenario based case study.
Recommended 40 hours to complete and must be completed within 4 weeks (20 working days).
Unit ND3 – Scenario based case study.
Recommended 40 hours to complete and must be completed within 4 weeks (20 working days).
