Instructor: Steve Carrow
Solar dehydrating is one of the most energy efficient ways to preserve food. Participants will construct their own solar dehydrator, based on the design of noted homesteaders Larisa Walk and Bob Dahse. Review of solar dehydrating principles and techniques will precede the work.
Finished dehydrators will be approx four feet by four feet and fairly heavy, so plan some means of transport.
