FOLAR has invited five speakers to talk about how and why they have decided to do a PhD.
Here is the opportunity to listen to speakers talking about their personal experiences, and to ask questions afterwards. Kati Wolff and Sarah Dickinson are in the middle of their research; Charlotte McLean has recently been awarded her PhD; Kate Cullity and her partners were awarded a PhD as a practice, and for a longer perspective, David Jacques will reflect on his career path and where that has taken him since he was awarded his PhD.
We have chosen this topic because we know that more people are engaging in research in landscape architecture at PhD level and beyond - and because we want to encourage more to think about pursuing this option, we thought it would be useful to understand more about the journey people take.
If you want to take this step, are thinking about it, or want to learn more about it - just come and join us - this series will be gold dust!
