A relaxed fortnightly online session for home-educated young people who want to build a stronger creative portfolio, experiment with new ideas and learn how artists actually develop their work.
Each session will focus on a different portfolio skill, such as developing one idea in different ways, mixed media, artist research, colour, composition, sketchbook pages, annotation, photography or turning rough ideas into more finished pieces.
This is not a formal qualification class. It is a free space to explore, try things out and gradually build a body of work that could later support Arts Award, college applications, GCSE-style portfolios or simply personal creative development.
Ages 12–16
Every other Friday, 2:30–3:30pm
Online and free to attend
Bring a sketchbook or paper and whatever basic art materials you have at home. I’ll post anything specific needed before each session.
No pressure to be “good at art”. The focus is on ideas, experimentation and showing your own creative development.
