May Half Term 2025

This May half term, take your kids on an unforgettable adventure in the magical ancient woodland of Parkwood. Our Kids Adventurist sessions are designed to give children the freedom to explore, have fun, and thrive in the great outdoors.

Nestled in a beautiful, ancient woodland, Parkwood offers the perfect backdrop for your kids to rediscover what it means to be free range. They’ll get to run, laugh, and play surrounded by towering trees and nature’s wonders, far from the distractions of screens and city life.

Here’s what your little adventurers can look forward to:

Cooking over an open fire: From toasting marshmallows to learning fire safety, kids will experience the magic of a woodland kitchen. And, if the weathers right, we may cook some other exciting treats over the fire.

Tool time: Under expert guidance, children will learn how to use tools safely and responsibly, creating and crafting in nature. Those that have been with us before have made "olympic" javellis, taken home hand made mallets or sharpened their sticks into the perfect gnome hats.

Wild shelters: We have a myriad of shelter styles to build with the kids. They have ample space to "get lost" and see if they can make the ultimate camo shelter, deep in the safety of the woods at Parkwood.

Games, games, and more games: From woodland tag, eagles nest and many many more, there’s fun around every corner for kids coming to Kids Adventurist holiday club.

Outdoors Arts & Crafts: In addition to the exciting activities mentioned we also offer children a chance to chill out with a variety of craft projects for children to create and take home, allowing children to use their imagination and creativity.

Freedom to be kids: Here, at Kids Adventurist, kids can just be – exploring, discovering, and connecting with nature on their own terms.

Our sessions celebrate curiosity, creativity, and connection with the natural world. Whether your child is climbing a tree, balancing on logs, or simply stopping to watch a beetle scuttle by, they’ll soak up priceless outdoor memories in a safe, supportive space.
