First Aid at Work - 6th, 7th + 8th May

This comprehensive three-day course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way. In addition, this course will include any protocol changes that may have arisen since their last training course.

A range of subjects are covered including:

• Legalities, responsibilities and reporting
• Heart attacks
• Dealing with an unresponsive casualty
• Resuscitation
• Choking
• Fractures and spinal injuries
• Sprains and strains
• Head injuries
• Control of bleeding
• Chest injuries
• Burns
• Diabetes
• Shock (including Anaphylaxis)
• Asthma
• Poisoning
• Stroke
• Epilepsy

This qualification lasts for 3 years.
To renew, candidates are advised to complete the 2-day renewal course BEFORE their qualification expires, otherwise it will be necessary to complete the full 3-day course again.
