Reactive & Nervous Dogs (owner only training session)

Living with a dog who is nervous, worried or reactive can sometimes feel like there’s an enormous amount to think about – where you walk, who you might meet, visitors coming to the house, other dogs, unexpected situations and whether you’re doing the right thing.

Let’s Talk Dog is a relaxed monthly evening for owners of reactive and nervous dogs, with a focus on practical support for real life.

Each month we’ll explore a different topic designed to help you understand your dog and make everyday life a little easier. We’ll talk about realistic strategies, management, expectations and ways you can support your dog, rather than concentrating solely on traditional training exercises.

There’ll also be plenty of opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and chat with other owners who understand what living with a reactive or nervous dog can actually be like.

Whether your dog barks and lunges, freezes, hides, struggles with visitors, finds other dogs or people difficult, or simply lacks confidence, you’re very welcome.

This isn't about trying to create the "perfect" dog. It's about understanding the dog you have and finding practical ways for you both to enjoy life together.
