SEND Cross-Phase Network

Networks provide a strong and supportive professional learning community, ideal for leaders and teachers who wish to work together to explore best practice education from a national and local perspective. They provide the opportunity for professionals to collaborate and share strategies to improve outcomes and experiences for pupils in all schools.

The SEND network is a space to explore practical issues impacting SENDCos, share new ideas and to see things from another angle. Sometimes seeing things with fresh eyes can give us all a lift!

Who is leading the network?

Kate Munnoch is a teacher, SENCo and Safeguarding Lead at King Edwin Primary School in Edwinstowe. Kate has over 20 years of teaching experience and has worked across the primary age range. In 2016, Kate took on the role of school SENCo and for the last 2 years has also been a Family SENCo for 7 primary schools and 1 secondary. Kate firmly believes that strong relationships should be at the heart of any working practice, and she seeks to develop and secure these links with the aim of improving outcomes for children with additional needs.
