Elevate: MITRE Teaching Programme

Elevate: MITRE Teaching Programme runs over a period of 6 months and consists of 7 face-to-face sessions. Each session takes a particular teaching and learning theme and will include elements of facilitated discussion, the modelling of teaching and learning activities, peer collaboration, expert input, learning visits to lessons and ‘gap tasks’ to undertake and reflect on.

The programme aims to develop reflective practitioners who better understand the craft of teaching, leading to better outcomes for children.

Who is the programme for?
This programme is for any teacher who wants to develop their practice in a supportive environment, focusing on what makes great teaching.
