Join me for this Yoga Nidra to rest together just after the full moon and on the evening of the Celtic festival of Lughnasadh/ Lammas. An opportunity to mark late summer, a time of fruitfulness, harvest and gratitude. A chance to sense what it feels like for the busy activity of the summer to slow down.
We will also take a moment to honour the devastation caused by the fires on the Cairngorms National Park and on other areas of land across the Earth. Turning towards our sadness and expressing appreciation to all those working to extinguish the flames and protect the home of thousands of affected species.
25% of all fees will go to a fundraiser by Nethybridge Vicinity Community Council (see stories) to help fund food, shelter and vital supplies for the firefighters, volunteers and emergency services.
Yoga Nidra is a deeply restful and restorative guided relaxation. All you need to do is make yourself cosy lying on the floor, on your bed or sofa with blankets and cushions and snuggle in for a long guided practice to refresh and restore. During the practice I will use beautiful seasonal imagery and poetry to guide you into a restorative rest before the new week begins.
A Zoom link will be sent before the starting time. Feel free to have your video on or off. You will be muted when you join the call but please feel free to unmute and say hello.
A recording will be available after class for those who wish to repeat during the week or if you are unable to make the session. This will be available for 7 days.
