WILD WOMAN GATHERING - ROAR

Details

Dear Wild Woman,
This gathering is for you.

For the woman who feels the quiet call of the wild within her — the whisper that says, Awaken. Come home. Live what is true.

This weekend is for you if you are longing to remember who you were before the world told you who to be.
If you crave a space that is both grounded and sacred — where your truth, your voice, and your wildness are welcome.

If your heart yearns for connection — to the land, to your body, to other women walking beside you.

We will gather at Phenzhopehaugh in the Ettrick Valley — in circle, in movement, in ceremony and story.
Rooted in the natural world. Rooted in ourselves.

You are warmly invited.

Come as you are.

𝐖𝐈𝐋𝐃 𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐍 𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔
This year’s theme is 𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗥.

An invitation to free our voices, our breath, our bodies.
To release what has been silenced.
To open into a new way of moving through the world — one that is deeply aligned with the core of who we are.

𝗥𝗢𝗔𝗥
A reclamation of voice.
A liberation of breath.
A return to the wild truth within.

“𝘓𝘦𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘳𝘢𝘸 𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘮𝘦 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘥 𝘳𝘢𝘸 𝘦𝘥𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘺𝘰𝘶.” — 𝘕𝘨𝘢𝘩𝘶𝘪𝘢 𝘛𝘢𝘬𝘢𝘶

This gathering is a remembering that we are not meant to walk alone.
When women come together in honesty and expression, something ancient and powerful awakens. Strength is shared. Breath deepens. Voices rise.

This year we gather to release, to express, and to move through the world rooted in our truth and power — alongside one another.

Our gathering takes place at Phenzhopehaugh — a name that carries the quiet poetry of place.

In old Scots, “haugh” means a low-lying meadow by a river — fertile ground held by water and time.
Phenzhopehaugh speaks of a resting place between hill and stream, between movement and stillness.

A landscape shaped by wind and weather, nestled in the Scottish Borders — spacious, elemental, and perfect for deep remembering.

𝗪𝗛𝗢 𝗜𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗜𝗟𝗗 𝗪𝗢𝗠𝗔𝗡?
The Wild Woman archetype is an ancient and powerful symbol found across myths, stories, and cultures around the world. She embodies the untamed, instinctual, and intuitive aspects of the feminine.

She is nature. She is truth. She is the part of us that refuses to be domesticated.

The Wild Woman represents a liberating force — one that invites us to break free from societal expectations and return to our authentic selves.

She lives in the deepest layers of our being:
the part that trusts intuition, honours sensuality, moves with the cycles of the earth and moon, and expresses without shame.

In folklore she is often depicted as primal and connected to wilderness, animals, and the rhythms of the natural world. She dances under the stars, howls at the moon, listens to the wind, and walks with fierce independence.

Her strength lies not in aggression, but in her unwavering alignment with her true nature.

To reconnect with the Wild Woman is to remember what has been suppressed or forgotten — and to reclaim it with courage.

𝗠𝗬 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗗:
My intention for this gathering is simple and powerful:

To come together in joy and sisterhood.
To honour our wildness.
To deepen our connection to ourselves, the land, and each other.
To move, breathe, and express in ways that feel honest and alive.
