Dear Wild Woman,
This gathering is for you.

For every woman who feels the call of the wild — that quiet whisper from deep within that says, “Awaken. Come home to yourself. Live the life that is truly yours.”

This weekend is for you if you are longing to remember who you were before the world told you who to be.
It is for you if you crave a safe, sacred space to explore your truth, your wildness, your authenticity.
It is for you if your heart yearns for connection — to the land, to nature, to sisterhood.

We will spend the weekend together in the embrace of Phenzhopehaugh, in the Ettrick Valley — gathering in circle, dancing, sharing, and learning about the powerful Wild Woman archetype.
We will root ourselves in ceremony, in story, and in soul — immersed in the beauty of the natural world and in the wisdom we carry within.

You are warmly invited.
Come as you are.

WILD WOMAN GATHERING 2025

The intention for our weekend is simple and heartfelt:
To connect — with ourselves, with each other, and with the land.

Our gathering takes place at Phenzhopehaugh — a name that carries the quiet poetry of place.
In old Scots, “haugh” means a low-lying meadow by a river — a fertile space of stillness, water, and soft holding.
Phenzhopehaugh speaks of “the meadow at the mouth of Phenz’s valley” — a resting place between hill and stream, between story and silence.
A landscape shaped by time, nestled in the Borders, and perfect for deep remembering.

Throughout the weekend, we will share in shamanic practices, movement and dance, yoga, nature walks, sauna, wild swimming, and more — all depending on the weather and the rhythm of the group.

We will be camping on the land, living close to nature and each other, held by the elements and the simplicity of being outdoors.
All of it an invitation to return to what is real, present, and alive within us.

WHO IS THE WILD WOMAN?

The Wild Woman archetype is a powerful and ancient symbol that has been present in myths, stories, and cultures across the world. She embodies the untamed, primal, and instinctual aspects of the feminine. Often associated with nature, intuition, and fierce independence, the Wild Woman represents a liberating force that encourages women to break free from societal constraints and embrace their authentic selves.

The Wild Woman archetype is about connecting with the deepest, most authentic parts of ourselves that have been suppressed or forgotten over time. She is the embodiment of our raw, instinctual nature—the part of us that trusts our intuition, celebrates sensuality, and embraces the self completely without shame. In folklore and mythology, the Wild Woman is often depicted as a primal, untamed force of nature. She is connected to the wilderness, animals, the cycles of the moon and the earth, she is also connected with her inner moon cycle (menstrual power) . She dances under the stars, howls at the moon, and listens to the whispers of the wind. Her strength lies in her ability to move through life with courage and a fierce sense of freedom, unapologetically embracing her true essence.

My vision for this weekend is to come together in joy and sisterhood—to honour our wildness, foster deeper connections with ourselves, nature, and like-minded women, and embrace our authentic selves.

My mission is to create a nurturing environment where people can reconnect with their inner selves and the natural world.
