A fun 2 hour workshop of gelli plate printing. Anyone can join in. Easy to learn.
Gelli Plate Printing uses a gelatin plate to press to fabric or paper. The process is easy as the paint is put on the gelli surface, spread out with a brayer then a variety of stencils and other textural objects are placed on the gelli plate, removed and transferred on the fabric or paper.
All craft materials and a gelli plate for use in the workshop will be provided. Each week you will learn new techniques and along the way you will be shown different ways of using your makes. You can dip in and out, but I'm sure once you start you will want to come and see what each weeks tips and techniques are.

Level: Beginner
This is a class for anyone over 11 years who has the capacity to understand instructions given to them by the tutor and are not requiring one-to-one supervision. Crafting instruments including sharp scissors and pokey tools will be used and we ask that you abide by health and safety instructions given by the tutor.
It is advisable not to attend any class in your best clothes as we will be using mediums which could stain or adhere to your clothing. Aprons and art sleeves are available, as are the use of small secure lockers whilst attending a workshop, at no cost to attendees.
You may bring your own crafting instruments if they are clearly marked with your initials. The management accept no responsibility for the loss or damage of personal items brought to the workshops.
We adhere to GDPR procedures regarding your personal data and CCTV recordings. We will not sell or supply third parties with any of your information. We are familiar with safeguarding procedures and are vetted for the education sector.
