We’re excited to welcome Beat It Percussion to our summer holiday programme! This hands‑on drumming session gives every young person the chance to try out drums and percussion instruments and make music together. The session will be guided by the young people, using a call‑and‑response approach that keeps everything child‑centred, responsive and led by their own rhythmic ideas.
The session will run in two groups. While one group is creating music, the other group will enjoy our relaxed Stay & Play offer at Maple House School, with access to the hall, outdoor areas, and the dining/community room.
The session is fully child‑led, with a wide range of toys and equipment available. Children can explore, play and unwind in a safe, secure environment while grown‑ups get time to chat and relax.
This summer we’re also introducing brand‑new sensory equipment, including a spinning seat, dark den, weighted blankets, vibrating cushions, additional visuals and talking buttons.
On arrival please access school through the Community Garden on Bournville Green where you will be met by a SEND Socials representative who will check you in to the session.
Please note: We do not offer childcare and parent / carers are to remain with their child(ren) and upport them at all times for all of our sessions
