An afternoon of activities, food and fun.
Join us to see out the Year of the trusting Water Rabbit and welcome in the inspiring and ferocious Wood Dragon! Following our Creative Contemporary Children‘s classes on Saturday 10 February, we will be celebrating the Lunar New Year with an afternoon of craft and a dance activities in our beautiful Roof Studio. There will also be tasty food! Including veggie spring rolls, prawn and vegan crackers, lucky fruit, yam cookies and fortune cookies, plus soft drinks and Chinese tea to share.
This event will take place in the Roof Studio.

Craft activities: Throughout the afternoon.
We'll be making Dragon Puppets, Mosaic Lanterns and Dragon Masks!
Chinese Ribbon Dance workshops: 1.15 - 1.45 and 3 - 3.30pm
Join Yuyu Rau, from New Earth Theatre, for a fun introduction to this dance originating in ancient China. Chinese ribbon dance has been performed for over 1000s years, using rhythmic motions and a long ribbon. Suitable for ages 4+.

Siobhan Davies Studios is mostly accessible to wheelchair users, with lifts to all floors. Our main door is power assisted. There are two accessible parking spaces available on site which can be booked in advance.
Please note that our disabled toilets may not be suitable for all users (the toilets in our disabled toilets are 42cm high) and our changing facilities and showers are not fully accessible. Our closest publicly available and fully accessible changing facility is at The Castle Centre, a leisure centre 0.3 miles away from the studios. You can find full details of their features here.
