Wednesday Classes at Studio Bee
We offer two levels:
Intro to tap/Fundamentals
For dancers who are new to tap or with little experience, building the foundations of technique, rhythm and confidence.
Intermediate
For dancers with solid foundations, developing more complex steps, stamina and musicality.
There’s no rush to move through levels — you’re welcome to stay in a level that feels right for you.
Not sure which level is right for you? Get in touch — we’re happy to help.
For those who have some tap experience we recommend taking two levels per week (90 minutes total) — using one class as a comfortable warm-up to reinforce technique, and the other to challenge your musicality and development.

The studio is located on the third floor.
There is a kitchen available to refill water bottles — we encourage the use of reusable bottles and kindly ask you to avoid single-use plastic where possible.
What to expect:
Friendly, supportive classes focused on rhythm, musicality and creativity — not perfection.
You’re always encouraged to listen to your body and take breaks.

Tap shoes are recommended, but not essential to start.
Hard-soled shoes are fine (no trainers).
We have a tap shoe library — let us know your UK size when booking.

Please let the teacher know in advance of any injuries, access needs, or medical conditions we should be aware of.
Cancellations:
If you can no longer attend, please cancel via Bookwhen as early as possible so the space can be offered to someone else.
